Arenaways

Arenaways operates the Cuneo–Saluzzo–Savigliano line in Italy's Piedmont region, with stops at Cuneo, Busca, Costigliole Saluzzo, Verzuolo, Manta, Saluzzo and Savigliano. A second line, Ceva–Ormea, is planned to reopen once infrastructure upgrades are completed.

Under the winter timetable, which applies for most of the year, the line offers up to 28 trains per day, with first departures around 6:00 AM and last arrivals around 9:00 PM. Service levels vary by season and day of the week, so always check live times and availability when booking.

Folded bicycles, or bicycles dismantled and carried in a bag within 80×120×45 cm, travel free — one per passenger. Non-folding or larger bicycles are carried subject to space and require authorisation from onboard staff before boarding, so access is not always guaranteed.

Yes, pets travel free. Small pets must be carried in a container no larger than 70×30×50 cm. Dogs of any size are welcome but must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash unless carried in a container, and you should carry your dog's registration certificate and health booklet (or pet passport for foreign travellers). Assistance dogs travel with their training certificate; guide dogs for visually impaired passengers need no certification.

Yes. Every train has 2 dedicated wheelchair spaces, an accessible toilet and a boarding ramp in the central carriage. Assistance must be requested from the carrier at least 24 hours before departure (48 hours during holiday periods); at Cuneo station, additional station assistance is available from the infrastructure manager RFI with at least 12 hours' notice. For specific assistance needs, please contact the carrier directly.

Yes. Arenaways timetables are coordinated with the national rail network at Cuneo and Savigliano, including connections towards Turin. A separate ticket is required for legs operated by other carriers. Arenaways has also committed to holding the last departures at Savigliano and Ceva when incoming connecting trains are delayed — so you can always get home.
